NetSuite FSM Assets represent anything that can be serviced, such as equipment, property, infrastructure, livestock, vegetation, and people. Assets can be associated with Transactions, Projects, Cases, and Tasks. An Asset can have child Assets. Child Assets can inherit field values from the parent Asset.

NetSuite FSM Consumables
NetSuite FSM Consumables represent billable or fulfillable items used on Tasks. Upon Task completion, consumables are referenced on Sales Order line items, and the Sales Order is referenced on the Case. Consumables are also referenced on Item Fulfillment line items.

NetSuite FSM Time Zones
NetSuite FSM Time Zones feature enables users to manage and report on work in multiple time zones. Time Zone can be referenced on Assets, Projects, Project Tasks, Cases, Tasks, and Activities. Time Zone is used as a reference for all related date and time fields. Date and Time fields are added to Activities that always display values in the time zone of the Activities, instead of the time zone of the current user pursuant to the User Preferences of the current user.

NetSuite FSM Customers
NetSuite FSM Customers can own Assets. Customer is the default owner for an Asset. An Asset has a set of Customers that can be billed for services.

NetSuite FSM Programs are schedules for recurring work that occur within Projects and Cases. Programs are used to consistently schedule maintenance of Assets by creating Cases and Tasks according to Program Rules. Cases are used to schedule recurring work that span multiple days or are open ended. Tasks are used to schedule work that occur on a single day.

Schedule Board is a graphical interface which displays rows of Resources and their assigned Tasks over the current range of days. NetSuite FSM Map is a graphical map interface which displays the location of Resources, their assigned Tasks, and all unassigned Tasks for the current range of dates.

NetSuite FSM Extension Panels are collapsible panels that control which Resources and Tasks are visible on the Schedule Board and Map through the use of filters. Resources or Tasks that pass the filters are displayed in the list. The list can be sorted by selecting a sort option. The list view mode can be toggled between list and detailed list.

NetSuite FSM Scheduling
NetSuite FSM Scheduling enables Tasks on the Schedule Board and Extension Panels to be scheduled or assigned Resources by drag and drop. Drag and drop selected Tasks on the Schedule Board to change their start date and time, end date and time, primary Resource assignee, and secondary Resource assignees. Tasks can also be assigned or unassigned by dragging between the Schedule Board, assigned tasks Extension Panel, and unassigned tasks Extension Panel.

NetSuite FSM Notifications are automated emails sent when Cases, Tasks, and Project Tasks change to a certain state.
