NetSuite PSA Project Activity Codes is a custom segment that can be used to classify project tasks, budgets, and actuals.
What is NetSuite PSA Project Time Types?
NetSuite PSA Project Time Types include Utilized Time, Productive Time, and Exempt Time. Time that resources enter against a project can be classified as utilized, productive, and/or exempt. Utilized time directly contributes to the revenue for a project. Productive time, such as training and pre-sales support, is time worked on a project but not included when calculating revenue for a project. Exempt time, such as vacations and holidays, is excluded when calculating utilization.

NetSuite PSA Project Time Calculations include Available Time, Net Time, Utilization, and Productivity. Available Time = Utilized Time + Productive Time. Net Time = Available Time – Exempt Time. Utilization = Utilized Time / Net Time. Productivity = Productive Time / Net Time.
